Stunning European talent bursts onto UK shores as Italian writer/songstress, Giulia, unveils her debut single ‘Radio Junky’ on 22nd September – a delicious tempting taster of things to come as Giulia’s debut album, ‘Raze Me To The Ground’, is scheduled for release early 2015.
Written and produced in London in collaboration with one of the UK’s hottest producers, Tom Nichols (Celine Dion, All Saints, Sugababes, Hall & Oates and Kylie Minogue to name but a few), both single and album demonstrate the incredible musical chemistry between Giulia and Nichols. A quintessential sound of country rock fused with a modern twist of pop, the masterful collection of tracks on the album are laced with superior song craft and compositions. Lead tracks such as ‘Radio Junky’, ‘Another Thing Coming’ and ‘Love, Love, Love’ begin an exciting musical journey, which will withstand the test of time and be played again and again. Nashville writer, Don Mescall (Rascal Flatts, Clay Aiken, Backstreet Boys, Ronan Keating, Boyzone, Jaydee Bixby, Ramin Karimloo, Aslan, Garou, Neal McCoy and Richie Havens) heard the album, instantly fell in love with Giulia’s sound and immediately offered to add a few finishing touches – musical magic was born.

Giulia is a young Italian beauty with the wisdom of the world firmly woven into the foundation of her upbringing. Born in Rome, Giulia experienced an eclectic and well-travelled childhood as her family moved from Italy to Argentina, then back to Europe before she decided to focus her musical development in the cultural and creative melting pot of London. The only daughter to Marco Dona dalle Rose, who was a professional polo player, and Fluvial Persona – a successful fashion entrepreneur, competitive ambition and exuberant expression were a genetic gift to the young Giulia. Her early years in Argentina exposed the Giulia to the music that firmly embedded itself in her subconscious and went on to influence her later writing and recording style. Classic, Country, Soul, Blues & Jazz favorites such as Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald could all be heard coming from Giulia’s bedroom. Whilst other 12 year olds would favor more bubble gum pop, the entranced Giulia was furnished with a more sophisticated palate for music at its greatest.
Now 2014 sees the culmination of a lifetime of wonderful experience and unparalleled talent intertwine to produce what can only be described as music at it’s very best. Her debut album ‘Raze Me To The Ground ‘, make Giulia ‘the one to watch’ on the international stage and it all kicks off with the awesome ‘Radio Junky’ – welcome Giulia!
