About the Editor:

Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, Brendon’s work in music journalism began on the youth music television show POWA Live where he interviewed New Zealand bands including top selling local act ZED, reviewed the latest new album releases and occasionally co-presented.

Moving to London in early 2003 he found himself working within the music industry more extensively and in February 2010 returned to writing, working as a Freelancer and contributing his review and interview work to an online publication in the capital.

Interviewing the best in new music and globally recognized artists has been Brendon’s specialty and over the years he has interviewed acts ranging from top selling superstars such as Roxette, Cyndi Lauper, Alison Krauss, Boyz II Men, Tori Amos, Aqua, New Kids On The Block, Russell Watson, Hanson, Macy Gray, Ali Campbell of UB40 and iconic Eagles front man/songwriter, Glenn Frey through to more recent successes including Newton Faulkner, Janelle Monae, Caro Emerald, Lights, Georgia and Australian children’s entertainers, The Wiggles, in their founding member line-up.

Brendon’s editorial work has seen him review over 1000 albums and singles as well as attend and write reviews/features of some of the biggest music events in the U.S, Australia and Europe at iconic venues such as the O2 Arena, Wembley, Royal Albert Hall, Staples Centre and the Sydney Opera House, at festivals around the UK including Bestival, Sonisphere and Glastonbury and exclusive press events.
