Single Review: Innerpartysystem – ‘American Trash’
2 min read
It’s been a while since we heard anything from electronic lads Innerpartysystem but thankfully the wait is over as the Pennsylvanian rockers return this month with a follow up to 2008’s self titled record.
Elaborately blending hardcore trance with a sharp pop appeal, new single American Trash is set to be one of six single releases for the three piece outfit throughout 2011.
American Trash is a electro-charged single that, although built and fitting for the club scene has also become adaptable to the radio waves as these lads show that the underground dance-floor heavyweights have more than a few tricks up their sleeves and are more than capable to transcending from sweaty night clubs to the mainstream in a one track swoop.
The track is a pulsating and heart-pounding release for the collective. The reverberating synths mixed with front-man Patrick Nissley’s sensually spoken verses merge flawlessly leaving anyone who listens to American Trash panting and begging for more.
American Trash is a monster of a track and one of the most exhilarating and high octane industrial rock releases in the past year. Definitely a band watch out for in 2011.
