1 min read

With a meteoric rise that has seen her firmly established as one of 2013’s most original, individualistic and talked-about new artists, Lorde is now excited to announce details of Pure Heroine, her debut album, released in the UK on October 28.

Alongside singles and firm fan favourites Tennis Court and Royals, Pure Heroine will include 8 brand new tracks, constituting an encompassing statement of intent from this much in-demand young star. Ahead of the album, Lorde will be officially releasing her breakthrough single Royals on October 20 in the UK.

The last few months have seen a head-spinning list of accomplishments for the 16-year-old New Zealander, real name Ella Yelich-O’Connor. Her debut release The Love Club EP raced up the US charts and the iTunes Top 10 Album Chart, with single Royals simultaneously in the Top 10 Singles Chart.
