Following Peace One Day’s 2012 concert with Sir Elton John at Wembley Arena. This year Peace One Day has been asked to bring its annual Peace Day celebration to The Hague on September 21 to mark the 100th anniversary of the Peace Palace.

Performances are confirmed from DJ Paul van Dyk, singer/songwriter Natasha Bedingfield, British band The Feeling, X-Factor UK runner up Jahméne Douglas and Dutch rock band Kane. The concert will also include contributions from Peace One Day ambassador Jude Law, musician Emmanuel Jal, actress and philanthropist Monique Coleman, Peace One Day founder Jeremy Gilley and other key individuals.

The concert will be the highlight of Peace One Day’s 24-Hour Global Broadcast on YouTube, which will also contain live content from all around the world and a series of exclusive interviews.

The non-profit organisation Peace One Day, which in 2001 led a process that resulted in the unanimous adoption by UN member states of the first ever annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence with a fixed calendar date, works to institutionalise Peace Day, September 21, around the world, making it a self-sustaining day of ceasefire and non-violence.
