Single Review: Oh My – ‘Dirty Dancer’

As far as catchy pop records go it wont be too far you have to look as Oh My are set to release the infectious Dirty Dancer on Monday and the track is overflowing with toe tapping hooks and a melody that will; keep ticking over in your mind for hours after you hear the track.
Dirty Dancer is the duo’s latest single following previously raved about releases Run This Town and Kicking and Screaming and pays homage in its lyrics to the cult film favorite Dirty Dancing with the catchy chorus line ‘I want a Patrick Swayze Dirty Dancer’.
Between the energetic grindings of underground grime infused dance beats that sound reminiscent of early Girls Aloud hits the track enlists the quick paced hip hop vocal lickings of grime MC Scru Fizzer who fits into the number perfectly and together the threesome create an uplifting pop treat.
Oh My have been causing such a buzz on the pop circuit that the upbeat duo have been taken on to provide suport on the upcoming Arena Tour for The Saturdays which hits venues throughout December including London’s iconic Wembley Arena on 16th December.
