News: Gregory Porter Announces Return to London's Royal Albert Hall for Three Shows in 2023

Gregory Porter is pleased to announce his return to London’s Royal Albert Hall for a trio of shows in 2023, following his sold-out series as part of the venue’s 150th Anniversary programme in 2021.

As one of the most heralded live performers in the world, continuing to perform to sold-out venues, the award-winning jazz and soul performer brings his iconic baritone back to the Royal Albert Hall next summer on 29th June, 30th June, and 1st July; with tickets going on-sale this Friday 28th October at 9:00am from Ticketline.co.uk / Royalalberthall.com / Ticketmaster.co.uk

On the shows, Gregory says:

‘I’m so looking forward to returning to the Royal Albert Hall, one of my favourite venues, and can’t wait to see you all!’

Over the past decade, Gregory Porter has taken the world by storm by bringing contemporary jazz to the masses. Not only has the singer collected GRAMMY Awards for albums ‘Liquid Spirit’ and ‘Take Me To The Alley’, he made chart history with all five albums breaking into the Top 10 of the mainstream charts – three of those within the Top 5. He has performed at numerous festivals around the world, gracing the famous Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.

He has had the honour of performing multiple times for the late HM Queen Elizabeth II, most recently as part of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations. He has appeared on the biggest TV shows (Graham Norton, Jools Holland, Strictly Come Dancing, to name but a few) as well as presented his own series (BBC Four’s ‘Gregory Porter’s Popular Voices’). He became the first celebrity to sing a lullaby on CBeebies Bedtime Stories and lent his distinctive voice to children’s BBC favourite ‘Numberblocks’! Porter has also hosted his own podcast, entitled ‘The Hang’, for which he was joined by such distinguished guests as Annie Lennox and duet-buddy Jeff Goldblum, amongst others.

Now, bringing his magic back to one of the most magical venues in the world, as he takes to the stage Gregory Porter will no doubt manage to cut through the noise of genres and the mess of life, with his rich, soulful voice and exuberant personality lifting everyone and everything.
