News: First Aid Kit join iTunes Festival and reveal U.S tour plans

(US) With their U.K. tour now fully sold out, including a night at London’s famed Royal Albert Hall, First Aid Kit have announced they will join the stellar line-up at the iTunes Festival in London on September 21, performing at the Roundhouse with Ryan Adams. The dates precede the band’s U.S. fall tour, where they’ll headline some of the largest and most renowned venues of their career including New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom on October 24, The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on October 29, and The Wiltern in Los Angeles November 12. Oklahoma-based artist Samantha Crain will support on all dates.
With their most recent album Stay Gold, First Aid Kit—sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg—have honed their lush arrangements and blossomed as vivid storytellers in creating this ambitious 10-song collection of originals.
