Waking Up Sideways follows a successful year for the foursome who have collected a large fan base following the release of some incredible singles including Stray Cat, Take Another Ride and I Don’t Know.
The latest single release from the band sees Kassidy stretching their Americana touch even further with a rhythmic and harmony heavy ballad. Opening with a progressive organ intro the single ushers in lead vocalist Barrie’s swaying vocals before the rest of the band enter the track providing a sturdy musical structure of instrumentation, predominantly the bands signature merging of acoustic guitars, as well as the uniting of all four band members vocals to form yet another beautifully harmonized addition to the bands prosperous catalogue.
Waking Up Sideways sees Kassidy’s star shining brighter than witnesses the shaggy haired collective branching out onto new musical levels and developing a more progressive mainstream touch to their sound.
