Single Review: Jodie Connor – ‘Now Or Never’
2 min readAlready attached to a monster number one single as the voice behind Roll Deep’s 2010 chart topper, Good Times, RnB songbird Jodie Connor is set to storm the charts with her own debut single, Now or Never, which combines an electronic/RnB splashing with the rap lickings of Roll Deep founder, Wiley.
Now or Never is driven primarily by its pop chart potential as much as its hook heavy chorus and infectious, toe tapping melodies that envelope syrupy harmonies to create a radio friendly single for the singer who clearly has the vocal talent to bring another chart worthy addition to the 2011 chart scene.
The harmonies in the song work well and add a freshness and boppy feel to Now or Never with hip hop maestro Wiley whipping up the concluding quick delivered rap section that rounds the song off.
Jodie Connor proved that she has the ability to deliver a catchy number when Good Times was released and there is no doubt with Now or Never that the singer is set to repeat the success of Good Times with her own electronic laced RnB bliss when Now or Never is released on Monday.
