Interview: Hanson
2 min read
It’s been a long time since we heard anything from brothers Taylor, Isaac and Zac Hanson. The Mmm-Bop siblings, who melted the hearts of every teenage girl around the globe when they first came to international prominence back in 1997 with the mammoth album Middle Of Nowhere, have been going strong ever since their breakthrough album which included the hits Mmm-Bop and Where’s The Love.
Fourteen years have turned the spritely lads that make up Hanson into fine young gentlemen who have evolved from teenage heart throbs into an incredible songwriting unit. With their latest record Shout It Out celebrating its release in the UK today the band is scheduled to play London’s Kings College for a five night residency where each of the bands five records will be performed in their entirety and order beginning with Middle Of Nowhere and ending with the London debut of Shout It Out.
In London for the release and special album performances, Taylor, Isaac and Zac sat down with Brendon to discuss the new album, what we can look forward to from the band and life in the spotlight. Here’s what they had to say.
