Interview: Caro Emerald

2 min read

Dutch Jazz songbird Caro Emerald has been making quite a name for herself over the past twelve months with the release of some amazing numbers of swing infused pop taken from the mammoth record selling parent record, Deleted Scenes From the Cutting Room Floor.

With toe-tapping numbers including Stuck, A Night Like This, Riviera Life and the massive single Back It Up, the singer combines numerous musical styles with her signature big back, orchestral stamp. Since the albums release Emerald has become a bright star in her homeland setting all sorts of records including knocking Michael Jackson’s iconic record Thriller off the top spot for an album spending the most weeks at number one on the Dutch charts with her debut effort.
