Interview: Brooke Fraser
2 min read
Kiwi folk songbird Brooke Fraser hit UK shores last month following the release of her debut single Something In The Water and ahead of her amazing UK debut album, Flags.
Though relatively new to the UK music scene the singer has been a staple on the airwaves and charts in her native New Zealand as well as throughout the Pacific having numerous top 5 singles including hitting the top spot with her latest release.
Busy promoting her upcoming album release and an hour prior to jumping on stage at the gorgeous surroundings of north London’s Union Chapel to play one of two capital dates, Fraser took time out of her hectic whistle stop trip to the UK to talk with Brendon about her rise towards international chart domination, her ten year musical journey and what the UK can look forward to over the following few months as the singer begins to take over the UK radio waves with her take on folk pop deliciousness. Here’s what Brooke had to say.
