Single Review: The Ghost – ‘City Lights’
1 min readThe Ghost are about to release their album War Kids in June but before the mother-ship hits the shops the NME tipped band has recently released the records first single City Kids on 31st May.
The Faroe Islands duo is made up of vocalist Filip Mortensen and Urbanus Olsen on electronics.
City Lights is a song merging electro-pop with indie with the end result being a catchy and progressive track for the band. Its got a fantastic chorus which is very anthemic and infectious.
The physical single release is more of a package with an inclusion of four impressive remixes of the track.
All of these characteristics combined make this band one to watch and the single the perfect summer debut.
