Even though he released his debut solo album last year, it is so hard to think of Zayn and not remember him as the quiet boy who started out on X Factor back in 2010.  This launched his musical career when he was grouped with the gargantuan One Direction, which he later just short of a year before the band went on hiatus at the start of 2016.

Zayn has kept himself busy with his solo music career, as well as fashion campaigns and designs.  Luckily for us, he’s also had time to work on his upcoming second album, with Dusk Till Dawn, featuring Sia, being the lead single.

The first thing to snap up your attention is Zayn’s beautiful, strong voice.  He starts off a little croaky, which adds a feel of sincerity to his lyrics.  The delicacy is ripped away when Sia joins the track, making her additional vocals a slight intrusion, though the pair match each other perfectly for the chorus, creating a sense of harmony.

The song is a little slow to start so it doesn’t immediately imprint on your soul, but it will definitely grow on you with a few more plays.
