Iggy Azalea is, in one word, a firecracker. Each song Azalea has released thus far has exhibited a unique sense of style and swagger and Change Your Life is certainly no exception to this.
In an industry dominated by males, female rappers often have to go through trials and tribulations that their male counterparts are not subject to. The world of rap is truly a dog eat dog world, not meant for the faint of heart. With Azalea at the forefront though, today’s male rappers should be quivering in their boots.
Her voice is unmistakable, and her flow is just as boisterous. Azalea though, is the best of both worlds in the sense that her skills as a rapper are unmatched yet she also has proven to be quite an exceptional singer.
Change Your Life, Azalea’s latest single, is one that is ready for the dance floors and radios around the world. The song makes use of a catchy, yet slightly redundant beat. However, with Azalea’s vocals overtop it is easy enough to forgive this. Also appearing on the track for a short verse is popular rapper T.I. who helps to give the track an even harder edge.
Prepare to hear a lot more from this confident young woman, as Change Your Life indicates Azalea moving in a more radio-friendly direction. This move is welcomed though as it goes to show Azalea’s talents as a diverse artist.
