News: The Script to play October Australian shows

(AUS)  As fans eagerly wait to see just what The Script will come up with next in their ongoing domination of the charts and worldwide arena shows, Frontier Touring are delighted to announce that they will take to the stage at Sydney’s Metro Theatre for a special show on Tuesday 14 October in addition to their appearance at Melbourne’s Beck Caulfield Guineas Day.

Responsible for some of the biggest tracks of the last ten years, The Script will be Down Under in celebration of the release of their fourth studio album No Sound Without Silence (out 12 September through Sony).

The Dublin trio, Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power, will treat fans to new tracks as well as their hits including ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’ and ‘Breakeven (Falling to Pieces)’ mongst others.

More recent single ‘Hall of Fame’ featuring will.i.am, further catapulted The Script onto the global stage with the song topping charts and garnering more than 140 million views on YouTube and 139 million streams on Spotify!

With new album No Sound Without Silence eagerly anticipated, the band have given us a taste of what’s to come with the latest offering ‘Superheroes’. The video clocked 3.3 million views in under a month, with more than 724,000 of those views in the first three days alone!

The Script are Australian regulars having toured our shores every year since their first appearance in support of their #1 self-titled debut in 2008, selling out venues throughout the country along the way.

The bands previous tour for the album #3 took them across the globe playing in four continents, including 63 arenas and 18 festival appearances, cementing their place as a major worldwide touring artist.

This short trip to Australia in October is only the beginning of what promises to be another amazing 18 months for the band and given the intimate setting tickets are sure to be snapped up quickly – so don’t hesitate.
