News: Ryan Hemsworth Announces ‘Sucker For Punishment’ 2015 Tour

(US) Following the recent release of his second studio album Alone For The First Time via Last Gang and his own flourishing Secret Songs imprint, Ryan Hemsworth announces a run of dates for the New Year. The 11-date tour will see the Halifax-born producer take in Sonar Festival’s Stockholm and Reykjavik editions before heading across Europe to Prague, Amsterdam, Paris, London, Dublin and more.
Alone For The First Time features guest spots from Dawn Golden, Alex G, Lontalius, Kotomi & DOSS, the GTW and Little Cloud and was released early last month to widespread praise. “It’s a sad record, but one that envelops you in a warm hug, wipes your eyes and plays with your hair,” wrote Clash Magazine, while DIY called it “faultless” and “captivating”, and Dummy wrote that it is “an emotional journey that sees Hemsworth inviting his listeners into his life through his music more than ever before.”
Both the new record and revamped live show see Hemsworth further establishing himself as one of this generation’s most innovative and inventive producers. Rest assured there’s a lot more to come in 2015 and beyond.
