News: Robert Plant And The Sensational Space Announce Tour

2 min read

(US) Having just played a triumphant and powerful Bonnaroo performance this past weekend, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space are far from ready to stop touring in support of what many critics are calling his greatest solo album, lullaby and…The Ceaseless Roar. Today, the band is announcing new fall dates, including two shows at Lockn’ Music Festival, as well as rescheduled ones to make up for last week’s postponed shows in Toronto, Detroit and Chicago. Tickets already purchased will be honored at the rescheduled shows. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, June 19 at 10am EDT.

lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar was named one of the top 50 albums of the year by NPR, which said, “At 66, the singer is still a majestic rock presence, at peace with the legacy of his hard-rock-defining band Led Zeppelin, while remaining relentlessly creative in his solo work.” The album received some of the best reviews of Plant’s solo career, with the Wall Street Journal saying, “Robert Plant knows where rock’s past begins and he’s pulling it into the future,” and the New York Times stating that “On lullaby and…The Ceaseless Roar, Mr. Plant often sings in an otherworldly voice: sustained, androgynous, balanced between serenity and ache.”
