Lorde has just announced a 15 date European tour, kicking off in Manchester on September 26th. All eyes are on the meteoric return of one of pop’s most celebrated talents with an all new album, Melodrama, and captivating live show.

At the age of just 16, Lorde released her first album Pure Heroine (Universal), breaking into the international market and later going on to win two Grammy Awards including the coveted Album of the Year. The album peaked at #1 in over 20 countries, including Australia, New Zealand and America and featuring chart topping tracks ‘Royals’, ‘Tennis Court’ and ‘Team’.

Now 20, Lorde has truly grown in her formidable talent. Her forthcoming second studio album Melodrama (out 16 June through Universal Music) is one of the most anticipated records of the year. Produced by Lorde, the esteemed Jack Antonoff and Frank Dukes, the album was recorded between Jack’s flat and Electric Lady Studios.

Following last week’s release of her new single “Perfect Places,” which Rolling Stone characterizes as an, “existential party anthem” that is both “defiant” and “stage-ready” and Pitchfork names their “Best New Track,” GRAMMY-winning artist LORDE gears up for the June 16th release of Melodrama with “Sober,” made available today on all digital service providers. Continuing to build hype for the forthcoming album, “Sober” presents a serene yet expressive single in true Lorde style. This new single will give fans a taste of what to expect and leads the way to Lorde’s 15-date European tour this Fall.
