News: Lady Gaga To Release Music Video For G.U.Y
2 min read(U.S) Multi-platinum and Grammy Award-winning artist Lady Gaga will premiere a sneak peak at the music video for G.U.Y. on Dateline on NBC News this Saturday, March 22nd at 8pm PT/ET directly followed by the full video premiere on VEVO.com. G.U.Y., the third single from her latest album ARTPOP was filmed on location at Hearst Castle in Northern California, the first commercial production at the National & California Historical Landmark mansion since Stanley Kubrick’s film “Spartacus” was filmed in the late 1950’s. The first single from ARTPOP, “Applause” is her 12th top-ten Billboard Hot 100 single in the United States.
Lady Gaga wrote the treatment as well as directed the video and it includes cameos from the cast of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” & Andy Cohen from “Watch What Happens Live” in addition to YouTube sensation SkyDoesMinecraft.
Later this month, Lady Gaga will embark on Lady Gaga’s artRAVE: the ARTPOP ball tour in support of the multi-platinum-selling artist’s new album ARTPOP, which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200. With six new dates just added due to high demand, the multi-month North American tour kicks off with seven sold-out shows at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City, the most by any artist ever. These historic shows will be the last at Roseland prior to the demolition of the legendary concert hall.
