News: Joss Stone announces ‘Merry Christmas, Love’ December shows with live symphony orchestra

GRAMMY® and BRIT Award-winning artist Joss Stone has announced her Merry Christmas, Love Tour, bringing songs from her ninth studio album, which is packed with festive favourites, to Birmingham Symphony Hall on Friday 11 December and London Eventim Apollo on Saturday 12 December.
Released in 2022, ‘Merry Christmas, Love’ features soulful renditions of classics including Away in a Manger, In the Bleak Midwinter, and Let It Snow, as well as Stone’s original tracks Bring on Christmas Day and If You Believe which celebrate her lifelong love of the festive season.
Audiences in Birmingham and London will be treated to a joyous, festive show, with Stone performing with a live symphony orchestra, making these performances a perfect way to celebrate the Christmas season.
Joss Stone rose to fame with her multi-platinum 2003 debut album, ‘The Soul Sessions’, which was critically acclaimed, reached #1 on the UK R&B chart, and was certified 3× Platinum in the UK and platinum in multiple countries.
Her second album, ‘Mind Body & Soul’ (2004), topped the UK Albums Chart, spawned the top 10 hit You Had Me, and earned her GRAMMY® and BRIT Award nominations.
Stone has performed and collaborated with legendary artists including James Brown, Burt Bacharach, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Sting, Van Morrison, Melissa Etheridge, Jeff Beck, Mick Jagger, and Damien Marley, amassing over one billion streams in the US alone. In 2014, she completed her audacious Total World Tour, performing and collaborating with local artists and charities in every country in the world.
Over her career, she has won a GRAMMY® Award and two BRIT Awards, including the GRAMMY® Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group (with John Legend and Van Hunt) and the BRIT Award for British Female Solo Artist. For Joss Stone’s upcoming Merry Christmas, Love Tour, she would like each promoter to add a charitable contribution of £1 on top of the price of every ticket sold. The funds raised will be donated to The Joss Stone Foundation. Joss has included this initiative on her previous headline tours, helping raise money for a wide range of charities and causes with which she has personally connected throughout her travels.
The Joss Stone Foundation was established in 2014 as part of Joss’s Total World Tour. It provides direct, practical and logistical support to selected projects where specific needs have been identified. Its work supports children and young people, families, the elderly, animal welfare, environmental causes and a variety of social issues.
