News: Diana Krall Announces More Dates For Her Wallflower World Tour

2 min read

(AUS) Five-time Grammy Award winning jazz pianist and world-renowned singer, Diana Krall, will bring her Wallflower World Tour to Australia this summer. Touring in support of her latest album (her twelfth release), the ARIA Jazz Chart #1 Wallflower, the shows will highlight Krall breaking new ground with her interpretations of some of the greatest pop songs of all time, as well as favourites from her extensive catalogue.

Krall will perform three special shows with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Two will be at the iconic Sydney Opera House Concert Hall (presented by Live Nation and Sydney Symphony Orchestra) and a third at Bimbadgen Winery, Hunter Valley – an “A Day On The Green” event. Krall will also perform at Melbourne’s Hamer Hall, the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre and under the stars at Kings Park and Botanic Garden, Perth, with her band and a full orchestra. Adelaide and Canberra audiences will be treated to Krall performing with her band and a string section.

Diana Krall continues to celebrate her illustrious career, now spanning more than a decade and yielding multi-awards. Having sold more than 15 million albums worldwide, Krall is the only jazz singer to have eight albums debut at the top of the Billboard Jazz Albums chart. Last touring Australia in February 2014 she has played to an international audience of millions – including headlining The Montreal International Jazz Festival last year in front of more than 100,000 of her most loyal fans.
