(U.S) The world video premiere of Atlantic Records’ Christina Perri’s ‘Burning Gold’ has topped off what’s been an incredible summer of live dates, concert events and high profile TV appearances.

The clip – which accompanies the latest single from Perri’s extraordinary new album Head or Heart – made its long awaited debut last Friday via VH1 and is streaming now at Perri’s official YouTube channel. ‘Burning Gold’ was directed by Jay Martin, who also directed ‘Jar of Hearts’ and ‘A Thousand Years.’

Perri will perform ‘Burning Gold’ on this week’s episode of So You Think You Can Dance, set to air Wednesday, August 6th at 8 PM ET/PT. The appearance – to be choreographed by Perri’s longtime friend and collaborator (and SYTYCD choreographer/dancer/guest judge) Stacey Tookey – marks the acclaimed singer/songwriter’s return to the highly rated dance competition series where her 2010 debut single, ‘Jar of Hearts’ first earned national attention before becoming a 4x RIAA platinum certified worldwide smash. In addition, last week also saw Perri performing ‘Burning Gold’ on both NBC’s TODAY and Late Night with Seth Meyers, the latter of which can viewed exclusively here.

As if that weren’t enough, Perri will hit the Honda Stage at the iHeartRadio Theater Los Angeles for a very special live stream event this Friday, August 8th at 7PM PT.

Perri – who recently heralded Head or Heart with her biggest North American headline tour to date – is getting ready to embark on another major run of North American live dates. The schedule begins with a series special guest dates on OneRepublic’s epic Native Summer Tour, commencing August 19th and then continue through the month (see attached itinerary). From there, Perri will join forces with Demi Lovato for the North American leg of her blockbuster world tour, kicking off September 6th and traveling through late October. The acclaimed first single ‘Human’ from Head or Heart was recently certified RIAA platinum for sales now well in excess of 1 million. Hailed by Billboard as a “delicate alt-pop ballad that should delight supporters of (Perri’s) breakthrough single ‘Jar of Hearts,’” the track has proven another colossal hit for Perri, lighting up the Top 10 at multi-format radio outlets nationwide, while also ascending to Top 10 status on the iTunes Store. In addition, the ‘Human’ companion video – directed by Elliott Sellers (Jason Mraz, Young The Giant, Portugal. The Man) – is an online phenomenon, drawing more than 32 million views and counting at Perri’s official YouTube channel.

Named iTunes’ “Breakthrough Pop Artist of 2011,” Perri earned critical applause and an increasingly fervent fan following with her extraordinary debut, lovestrong. Highlighted by the 4x-platinum certified smash ‘Jar of Hearts’ the album – produced by GRAMMY®-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli (The White Stripes, My Morning Jacket) – entered the SoundScan/Billboard 200 among the top 5 upon its initial 2011 release, while also proving an unqualified international sensation with top 5 success in Australia and Ireland as well as top 10 sales in Canada and the United Kingdom.
