News: Chris Malinchak Announces UK Shows For September

(UK) New Jersey DJ and producer Chris Malinchak is to make his return to the UK this October 2014 with three highly anticipated shows across the country. Kicking off with a headline date at London’s Oval Space on Thursday, October 9, Malinchak will play The Warehouse Project (Return To Store Street) in Manchester on Friday, October 10 and a headline date at Glasgow’s St Judes on Saturday, October 10. Special guests are promised for both headline shows, whilst The Warehouse Project promises a breath-taking line-up including Kerri Chandler, Joris Voorn, Hot Since 82 and Yousef. Tickets for Manchester are on sale now. Tickets for London and Glasgow go on sale 9am on Friday, August 1.
The dates are to follow the official release of Malichak’s new single ‘Stranger’ (featuring Mikky Ekko) on August 17 through Relentless Records/Sony. Premiered by Radio 1’s Pete Tong, ‘Stranger’ – Malinchak’s third Essential New Tune – follows the phenomenal success of Malinchak’s recent singles ‘If U Got It’ and the UK No.2 hit ‘So Good To Me’, the latter topping 25 million views on YouTube, dominating the dancefloor and radio, and moving Adele to describe it as “beautiful’.
Immediacy is synonymous with Malinchak, with tracks new tracks often shared online. “I love that moment when I put up a new song, knowing it’s about to be heard for the first time,” he expresses. “I’ve never looked to ‘push’ anything, but I’m always looking to share with more people.” If anything it’s the ‘pull’ factor that Malinchak is experiencing, and one that his upcoming shows will only magnetise.
