American Express presents BST Hyde Park announce the biggest girl band in the world Little Mix as the first headliner for 2020. The foursome, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirwall, are hitting the capital on 4th July!

Little Mix say: “We’re so excited to perform at BST Hyde Park. It’s such a massive gig with a huge crowd, so it’s definitely going to be one of our 2020 highlights. We’ve been to see acts at BST before and it’s always such a party atmosphere. We’ll be bringing that to our set next year for sure!”

Over the past 8 years, Little Mix have achieved the extraordinary – forming as a group on X Factor in 2011 and winning the series, to becoming genuine global stars. Now, they are headlining American Express presents BST Hyde Park – a festival that has featured some of their biggest idols – in the city where it all began. In 2014, the group supported the legendary Tom Jones and now they return for their own show with the headliner status they deserve.

The news comes after the group’s triumphant European tour LM5: The Tour which included an incredible 5 nights at The O2 in London, with a surprise guest appearance from grime king Stormzy. Their latest album ‘LM5’ was released in 2018 and includes hit single ‘Woman Like Me’, and standout tracks ‘Strip’ and ‘Wasabi’.

From 9am Monday 25 November until 8.30am Thursday 28 November 2019, eligible American Express Cardmembers can exclusively purchase tickets before they go on sale to the general public. Visit axs.com/bstamexpresale to book. T&Cs apply.

Little Mix have grown into both pop superstars and incredible role models for their young fans since they formed in 2011. They have released 5 albums and array of pop smashes like ‘Black Magic’, ‘Shout Out To My Ex’, ‘Power’, ‘Touch’ and ‘Secret Love Song’, plus collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Stormzy, Missy Elliott, Jason Derulo and more. They have won 2 BRIT Awards, earned themselves 4 UK no.1 singles and their 2016 album ‘Glory Days’ spent an impressive 5 weeks at the top spot in the UK albums chart.

They have always flown the flag for their LGBTQ+ fans and have been accoladed in the LGBTQ+ community, having won the ‘Changemakers’ category at the 2019 British LGBT Awards and receiving the ‘Honorary Gay Award’ at the Attitude Awards the previous year.

Little Mix have just announced a brand new TV series for BBC One in 2020, Little Mix The Search. The series, made by ModestTV, will see the band creating bands and becoming mentors to a new wave of talent. The singers who make it into new bands will live together and gain access to Little Mix’s inner circle who have contributed to their phenomenal success, including vocal coaches, song writers, producers and stylists.

Next summer, Little Mix fans can come together to celebrate their biggest festival headlining show yet at American Express presents BST Hyde Park. More artists to be announced.
