2 min readSince erupting onto the music scene in 2007 with his number one debut album Handbuilt By Robots, the ginger-dreaded guitar virtuoso that is Newton Faulkner has gone from strength to strength with a nation that can’t seem to get enough of his distinctive vocals and unique guitar skills.
Dream Catch Me cemented a place for Faulkner within the worlds hearts and subsequent singles including Gone In The Morning, All I Got, If This Is It and Over And Out have added an international string of success to the multi-talented musicians bow. Five years on from his phenomenal debut we have recently been offered a third album from Newton Faulkner in the delicious form of Write It On Your Skin which shot straight to the top of the charts upon its release at the start of the month following the release of the infectious and optimistic pop gem, Clouds.
During a busy promotional schedule for Faulkner, Brendon caught up with the musician to talk about the new record, his views on success and remaining grounded and what’s in store for the rest of 2012.
