Ed Sheeran sells out Madison Square Garden in 3 minutes (US)

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has sold out his November 1 headlining show at Madison Square Garden in just 3 minutes. Sheeran shared via Twitter that a second MSG show has been added for October 29. The shows on sale date and other details will be announced shortly.
Amazingly, it was only last year that the 22-year old British sensation played his first New York City show – a sold out performance at the Mercury Lounge (cap 250) on January 31, 2012. Nearly a year to the day, he sold out Radio City Music Hall (January 30, 2013), as part of a cross country headlining tour that also completely sold out.
