Basement Jaxx release their new single, the ecstatically buoyant What A Difference Your Love Makes introducing the vocals of folk/soul artist Sam Brookes. Penned by the Jaxx with a hand from Chicago house legend DJ Sneak. The single is out September 30.
The Jaxx revealed the video for What A Difference Your Love Makes, filmed in South Africa’s oldest township, Alexandra in Johannesburg, the video features the Pantsula dance, a form of dance that first became popular in the 80’s and is still practised by the young, fashionable & rebellious in the townships.
