With the light and easy tunes of A Great Big World, it’s no wonder that the indie pop/rock band can lift the spirits of people that are on the verge of tears. The American two-musical group from New York, Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino, have implemented a new signature key with their music by bringing back an anthemic pleasure of songs full of vitality and life through their recent release of Is There Anybody Out There?
With a sweet and harmonious tip of the fingers, the piano keys sweep into action with Rockstar as the drum beats from a heavy marching band, waiting to parade through the picturesque city halls of crowded people. To show a sense of appreciation at the perfection when the band marches through. With their well-rehearsed rhythms of noise-pounding trombones and the skid-fast steps they make whilst they show everyone that their dreams and desires are fulfilled. Following on, I Really Want It adds a heightened flavour and candid texture for the sweetened tooth, with its continuous structure of bubbly music that will bring great cheer for the person winning their first spelling bee competition.
Say Something and I Don’t Wanna Love Somebody Else are ballads of bittersweet and heart-wrenching anticipation. Waiting for a second chance. Hanging by a thread of hope that not all is lost. The words that are kept beneath a wounded soul will no longer prolong the battle scars from healing.
With their free-spirited music as well as their well-thought-out ballads, A Great Big World make it all happen, adding a bit of quirkiness and fun to the release. It’s only then, people can see for themselves what the duo are capable of doing in terms of what they bring to the table. They have perfectly crafted the art of music that is set to give off an explosions of emotions but also a chance of giving them a glorified title of being a fantastic musical group, bringing optimistic and beautiful music to life. In saying this, their happy-go-lucky tunes will make Monday morning traffic a lot more bearable than it actually is.
