Interview: Turin Brakes

Turin Brakes returned last month with their latest album, Spacehopper (out now on Cooking Vinyl). The record is their 10th studio album and sees the Balham boys return to legendary recording studio, Konk Studios – the birthplace of their iconic 2001 Optimist LP debut. Soaked in nostalgic nods to that debut, Spacehopper is one of the collectives finest releases of the past decade and is set to be promoted by a UK tour throughout November which will see the lad visit most major cities around the country.

Currently enjoying a busy season of festival and outdoor event slots, we were lucky enough to grab frontman Olly Knights for a very casual chat about the brand new collection, upcoming tour and a look back over the years that have seen the band become one of the most cherished acts in the UK. Here is what Olly had to tell us….
