Seven-time GRAMMY winner Taylor Swift announced ‘The 1989 World Tour’ on Good Morning America this morning just days after performing an epic concert in Times Square to over 20,000 fans, wrapping up promotion of her history making fifth studio album, 1989.

‘The 1989 World Tour’ will encompass eight countries and span four continents including North America, Europe, Australia and Asia*. Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy will be main support along the North American tour while singer, songwriter and viral sensation Shawn Mendes will support the global superstar along her North American stadium dates.

The UK leg of The 1989 World Tour will kick off on 23 June in Glasgow at The SSE Hydro – Taylor’s first ever live show in Scotland. The tour then hits Manchester on 24 June at the Manchester Arena, before Taylor headlines Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park 2015 in London on 27 June. Taylor joins an illustrious group of headliners who have made Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park the best music experience of the summer. With a stellar line up of exciting artists to be announced soon as part of the event. Tickets go on general sale 9am on Monday 10 November. For more information click here.

2014 has been one heck of a year for Vance Joy and things aren’t slowing down for the Melbourne musician anytime soon, with big things on the horizon for the close of the year and the beginning of 2015. After releasing his debut album Dream Your Life Away in September (with a #1 debut in Australia, #2 in Canada, #17 in the US and #20 in the UK) Vance Joy has spent the last two months traversing the Northern Hemisphere. His recent UK and European tour dates, which included two shows in London, all sold out, and his current North American dates are well placed to do the same, with many shows upgraded. For those in Australia Vance will begin his Dream Your Life Away 2015 Album Tour with #1 Dads and Airling. See vancejoy.com for ticketing details.

Hailed by Billboard as “Music’s First Vine Star” and TIME Magazine as one of the “Most Influential Teens Of 2014”, singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes has emerged from teen viral sensation to major best-selling status almost overnight. His self-titled debut EP hit the #1 spot on iTunes less than an hour after it’s release. This only one month after his debut single “Life Of The Party” also topped the iTunes Charts, selling over 150,000 copies in its first week, and making Shawn the youngest ever artist to break into the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 25 with a debut single. Just 16 years old, and from Pickering, Ontario, Shawn has quickly become one of music’s most promising young stars.
