It was a family affair in Sydney, Australia yesterday for the Australian premiere of the StudioCanal film Paddington.
Adapted from Michael Bond’s universally beloved books, Paddington follows the journey of an optimistic and polite young bear from Peru who travels to London in search of a home and a family. When the Brown family invites him to stay with them, little do they realise how much comic mayhem one young bear will bring to their everyday family life.
Paddington is directed by Paul King and is produced by multiple award-winning David Heyman (Gravity, the Harry Potter series). The film stars Nicole Kidman, Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey), Sally Hawkins (Blue Jasmine, Godzilla), Julie Walters (Billy Elliott, Harry Potter series), Jim Broadbent (Bridget Jones Diary) and the voice of Ben Whishaw (Cloud Atlas, Skyfall).
Oscar winner and Australian film icon Nicole Kidman took to the red carpet at Event Cinemas in Sydney’s CBD yesterday for the Australian premiere and we were there to catch Nicole and other local stars as they arrived for the film. Here are a few photos from the day…
