Ori Rakib – known as IRO on stage – grew up in California, lived in Israel for a few years, spent some time in Germany, and now resides in New York City. “IRO is what happened when I wasn’t afraid of change,” Rakib claims. “I believe moving causes movement and all the chaos we live in is music.” A powerful sentiment from a cultured musician on the brink of something special. Drawing comparisons to artists Hozier and Milky Chance, IRO is taking a relevant sound and making it his own. Keep a close eye on this one.
