News: Travie McCoy Unveils New Single “Golden (ft Sia)”

D2DC Records/Fueled By Ramen artist Travie McCoy has released his latest single, “Golden (featuring Sia),” available now at all DSPs. Co-written by Sia and Diplo and produced by the Picard Bros., “Golden” follows McCoy’s enviable string of hits as both a solo artist and the frontman for alternative/hip hop band Gym Class Heroes. The companion music video for “Golden” draws its inspiration from Jean Luc Godard’s 1967 film Weekend and its iconic traffic shot.
McCoy and Gym Class Heroes first rocketed to global stardom in 2007 with the #1 single “Cupid’s Chokehold/Breakfast In America.” With the 2010 release of his debut solo album Lazarus, McCoy scored a multiplatinum smash of his own with the blockbuster hit “Billionaire (feat. Bruno Mars).” Gym Class Heroes’ most recent album, 2011’s The Papercut Chronicles II, featured a trio of platinum singles, including the band’s second #1 single, “Stereo Hearts (feat. Adam Levine).”
