And with World Cup Grand Final fever at its peak – scheduled to air at 5am Monday July 14th on SBS TV – Ricky Martin’s performance of ‘Vida’ on The Voice couldn’t be more timely! ‘Vida’ is part of the official World Cup album and is the winner of the SuperSong competition, written by Elijah King. The track was produced by Salaam Remi, who has worked with names like Lauryn Hill, Alicia Keys, Santana, Sting, Amy Winehouse, among others. There is nobody better than an international pop icon and Latin Music’s Global Ambassador by Billboard magazine to perform the song: Ricky Martin. He has sold over 70 million albums worldwide. After the ‘Vida’ performance at the China Music Awards, Ricky was the first international artist to hit the #1 spot on the domestic Chinese Music Charts.
