News: Lightning Seeds Announce Greatest Hits Tour For 2027
Following their hugely successful sold-out tour in 2024, Lightning Seeds have announced a major greatest hits tour for winter 2027. Starting in Holmfirth on 4th November 2027, the tour will take in some of the UK’s more revered venues before culminating at Eastbourne on Saturday 18th December next year.
The tour will see Ian Broudie and the band play a career-spanning set of fan favourites including ‘Pure’, ‘The Life Of Riley’, ‘Change’, ‘Lucky You’, ‘Sense’, ‘Sugar Coated Iceberg’, ‘You Showed Me’ and many more.
Formed in Liverpool by Ian Broudie, Lightning Seeds have sold more than eight million albums and delivered a remarkable run of era-defining pop songs. Their timeless songwriting and uplifting live performances have made them firm favourites with audiences across the UK.
In 2024, Lightning Seeds celebrated their 35th anniversary by releasing the 20-track greatest-hits album ‘Tomorrow’s Here Today: 35 Years of Lightning Seeds’, touring the UK and playing major outdoor shows and festivals. Before the current year is out, Ian and the band will also join Paul Heaton as special guests on his sold-out arena tour, ahead of a hometown Christmas show this December.
Ian says: “We’re delighted to announce our 2027 Greatest Hits Tour. We really can’t wait to see everyone on our headline tour next winter for what is going to be a very special collection of gigs!”
These brand-new greatest hits tour dates promise an unforgettable night showcasing one of British pop’s most enduring catalogues.
