News: James Blunt Announces Third and Final Show In Sydney – At Midnight

(Australia) It’s official: Australia loves James Blunt! Due to unprecedented demand and with two Sydney shows already sold out, Frontier Touring is pleased to announce a third and final performance by the award-winning ‘You’re Beautiful’ songwriter – a special, late night State Theatre show, kicking off at midnight on Friday 30 May, 2014.
It’ll be two shows in one evening for the talented troubadour, whose earlier State Theatre performance (with acclaimed Queensland duo Busby Marou as support) sold out immediately upon announcement. With gigs in Auckland, Adelaide and Perth also snapped up by fans, it’s clear that the affable British singer/songwriter has a special place in the hearts of music lovers across the country.
2014 sees Blunt’s first visit to our shores in three years, the tour coming off the back of his chart-topping fourth album, Moon Landing. Reaching #2 in the UK album charts and #5 in Australia, Blunt’s latest single, “Heart To Heart” is all over radio now – check out the official video here.
Blunt, whose debut album Back to Bedlam became the UK’s biggest selling record of the Noughties, is currently taking his Moon Landing world tour across Europe, the UK and Russia, and will visit Canada and the USA before making his way down under in May. With a full band in tow to perform favourites such as ‘Goodbye My Lover’, ‘1973’ and new songs such as ‘Bonfire Heart’, these shows will be something special – and Blunt wants you to share your live experience with him via his website, by tagging memories on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with hashtag #bluntontour.
