A number of special guests will be joining Andrea Bocelli on stage throughout the evening, including Hans Zimmer, whose extraordinary melodies and modern compositions captivate a huge worldwide fan base across generations. Having scored more than 500 projects across all mediums which, combined, have grossed more than 28 billion dollars at the worldwide box office, Zimmer has also been honoured with two Academy Awards, three Golden Globes, four Grammys, an American Music Award, and a Tony Award. His work highlights include Dune, No Time to Die, Gladiator, The Thin Red Line, As Good as It Gets, Rain Man, The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Thelma and Louise, The Last Samurai, 12 Years A Slave, Blade Runner 2049 (co-scored w/ Benjamin Wallfisch) and Dunkirk, as well as recent film scores including Top Gun: Maverick, Wonder Woman 1984 and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run. Most recently, Zimmer won the Academy Award for Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures for Dune. And, in 2019, Zimmer scored the live-action remake of The Lion King, for which he received a Grammy nomination. Zimmer’s music is truly iconic, so we can’t wait to welcome him to Hyde Park for an unforgettable show.

Seal will also perform alongside Bocelli. Emerging from England’s house music scene in 1990, Seal became the most popular British soul vocalist of the decade. By the mid-90s he was known for a distinctive fusion of soul, folk, pop, dance, and rock that brought him success on both sides of the Atlantic. His first single ‘Killer’ won him an Ivor Novello Award, to be followed by two more for ‘Crazy’ and his most celebrated song ‘Kiss from a Rose’, as well as three BRIT Awards and four Grammy Awards only a few years later.

Plus Zucchero – one of the finest exponents of rock blues in Italy. Zucchero’s 40 year career has seen more than 60 million records sold, including 8 million copies of the album Oro, incenso & birra alone. His collaborations are legendary, from Eric Clapton’s unmistakable guitar on ‘Wonderful World’, to the international hit ‘Senza Una Donna (Without a Woman)’ with Paul Young. Not forgetting the Italian version of ‘Mad about You, (Muoio per te)’ on Sting’s The Soul Cages album, and ‘Miserere’ with the Maestro, Luciano Pavarotti. His appeal is global, and we’re so excited to see him return to Hyde Park.

Also appearing will be American singer Loren Allred, the voice of ‘Never Enough’ on the Oscar nominated and Grammy award winning The Greatest Showman soundtrack and film, flautist Andrea Griminelli, violinist Rusanda Panfili, Venezuelan singer-songwriter Joaquina, Andrea Bocelli’s daughter, Virginia Bocelli, and dancers Angelica Gismondo and Francesco Costa.

Recognised as the UK’s most in-demand orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will join Andrea Bocelli, conducted by Michele Spotti. Prominent classical musician and television personality, Myleene Klass will return to the BST Hyde Park stage to host a programme of operatic indulgence.

This enriched day of classical music will feature exclusive sets from Welsh Superstar, Mezzo Soprano Katherine Jenkins OBE, and rising classical star, Matteo Bocelli, who will be performing their own sets earlier in the evening.
