News: Brooke Fraser Returns With New Album ‘Brutal Romantic’

2 min read

(Aus) Brooke Fraser’s fourth album Brutal Romantic will be released 14 November. She returns to Australia in March 2015 on the tour of the same name.

Brutal Romantic saw Fraser take a nomadic journey to record in London via songwriting sojourns in Stockholm, Los Angeles, New York and on the Island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea. The album was produced in London by David Kosten (Bat For Lashes, Everything Everything, Marina and the Diamonds) and Fraser. Brutal Romantic sees Brooke venturing to new musical territory with electronic flavoured, sonically daring tracks wrapped around her trademark beautiful vocals and pop melodies.

Brooke Fraser Brutal RomanticBrooke Fraser’s last sell-out tour of Australia in 2011 followed her breakthrough worldwide hit ‘Something In The Water’. This tour tees off with the equally infectious new single ‘Kings + Queens’, available now.

It’s a bold Brooke Fraser returning down under at the peak of her musical and lyrical powers, with a new album and band that will be one of the most talked about shows of the year. The album is available for pre-order now with an instant download of ‘Psychosocial’, the track that first announced the forthcoming album on social media last month.
