Added to Saturday’s stellar line-up, electro-pop band Confidence Man will bring their irresistible party vibes to the park. Unarguably one of the hottest new acts on the planet right now, the Australian four-piece return to Brighton Pride following their storming set in 2023. Two-time Eurovision winner Loreen will bring her faultless vocals, infectious energy and dazzling stage show, whilst hotly tipped newcomer Slayyter, who’s bold, unapologetic brand of pop has solidified her as the internet’s most exciting purveyor of progressive pop music, is set to slay the crowd. Demidevils unite as formidable force and the future of pop-rap, Ashnikko brings their Weedkiller universe to Pride for a show that won’t easily be forgotten. Adding an extra touch of glamour to proceedings, the fabulous Sister Sledge ft. Kathy Sledge will perform their much-loved hits including ‘We Are Family’, ‘Thinking of You’, ‘He’s The Greatest Dancer’ and many more in the brand-new Icons slot
Making their Brighton Pride debut on Sunday August 3rd will be the award-winning, ultimate pop idol, Will Young. Having burst into public consciousness in 2002, Will Young has amassed multiple number one singles and albums showcasing hits such as ‘Leave Right Now’, ‘All Time Love’ and ‘Jealousy’. Grammy nominated Natalie Imbruglia is also set serenade Sunday’s crowd with hits such as ‘Wrong Impression’, ‘Shiver’ and the anthemic ‘Torn’, whilst Erasure’s Andy Bell steps into the Icons slot. Sonique’s sabbath set is set to make us all Feel So Good, while Sundays are meant to be a day of rest, but not for Ultra Naté, who is set to turn it up with hits such as ‘If You Could Read My Mind’ and 90’s queer anthem ‘Free’.
Featuring over 150+ LGBTQ+ artists across the weekend, Pride on the Park will continue to host an additional array of diverse and inclusive stages, immersive experiences and entertainment zones across the park including Queertown, The Cocoa Butter Stage, The Pleasuresome, Legends Cabaret Stage and more. Master of music, TV and fashion, Gok Wan will headline Saturday’s Pleasuredome stage, which will also see performances from Russell Small, Wildblood & Queenie + many others.
The annual and much-loved LGBTQ+ Community Parade will kickstart Pride weekend under this year’s theme of Ravishing Rage. Ravishing Rage is more than a parade, it’s a celebration of resilience, spirit, passion and unity. Be louder than ever, shine brighter than before, dance in protest and march in celebration because fury never felt so fierce! The parade will wind through the city in spectacular colour and style, delighting the thousands of people who take to the streets to watch the event which showcases over one hundred LGBTQ+ charities, community groups and small businesses, our invaluable emergency services, the NHS and representatives of other Pride organisations.
