George Michael has confirmed plans to release a new album in March.
The Wham! man will unleash ‘Symphonica’ on March 17 as he follows up his last studio effort, 2004’s ‘Patience’. The album was co-produced by Michael and the late Phil Ramone.
The record was recorded during the singer’s tour of the same name in 2011 and 2012. It is due to feature covers such as Roberta Flack’s ‘The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’ and Elton John’s ‘Idol’.
‘Symphonica’ will be released in a 14-track standard edition as well as a hardback deluxe 17-track CD version.
The singer’s track ‘Praying For Time’ meanwhile can be downloaded from Michael’s website.
