Buddy Guy debuts at #1 on Billboard’s Top Blues Albums Charts (US)

Blues icon and six-time Grammy-Award winning artist Buddy Guy breaks his own sales record as his new double-disc album Rhythm & Blues debuts at #1 on the Billboard Top Blues Albums chart and #27 on the Top 200 chart. Rhythm & Blues marks Guy’s largest first week sales in the SoundScan era and his fourth #1 Top Blues Album.

Produced by Grammy Award winning producer/songwriter and longtime collaborator Tom Hambridge, Rhythm & Blues captures Guy at the peak of his creativity and features first time studio collaborations with Kid Rock, Keith Urban, Gary Clark, Jr., Beth Hart and Aerosmith members Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Brad Whitford.
