2 min read

LIDO Festival have announced Kelis as the first artist to support electronic duo Maribou State as its first headliner, who will be performing on Saturday 20 June.

The second edition of London’s acclaimed sustainable music festival returns to Victoria Park in 2026 following its successful debut in June of this year. Tickets will go on general sale from Friday 24 October at 10am.

Kelis first came to prominence singing the hook of Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s hit ‘Got Your Money’. Years of chart-dominating songs and thrilling, boundary-pushing music followed, resulting in millions of albums sold and numerous top 10 hits. Kelis has since gone on to release six studio albums. She has won Brit, Q, and NME Awards, and been nominated for two Grammy Awards. Her latest album, Food, made with a live band and horn section, was praised as one of her most adventurous works yet. A fashion icon and designer muse since the early days of her career, she is celebrated for a personal style which is often as creative and forward-thinking as the music she makes.

LIDO Festival’s first edition, in 2025, welcomed headline performances from Massive Attack (6 June), Jamie xx (7 June), Outbreak Fest with headliner Turnstile (13 June), Charli XCX (14 June), and London Grammar (15 June), offering a meticulously curated line-up of artists, blending established names with rising talent. The festival’s first-ever midweek programme In the neighbourhood provided free arts and wellbeing activities for the local community, reinforcing LIDO’s commitment to cultural enrichment.
