News: Pentatonix Announce 2015 ‘On My Way Home’ Tour Dates

(US) Fresh off performances on The Today Show and Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, vocal sensations Pentatonix have announced dates for their 2015 North American “On My Way Home” Tour. The tour takes its name from one of the group’s original songs off of their recent release PTX Vol. III and is set to kick off with 2 nights at Oakland, CA’s Fox Theater on February 25th and 26th. Tickets will be available for sale to the general public starting Friday, December 5th with more dates to be announced soon.
Dominating the charts, Pentatonix’s That’s Christmas To Me has become the biggest holiday album of the season. The album is currently #2 on the Billboard 200 with over 227,000 total album equivalent units and marks a chart high for the group. They are also #1 on the Digital Albums Chart as well as #1 on the Holiday Album Chart for the 6th consecutive week. The album has sold over 405,000 albums in the US to date. That’s Christmas To Me is currently #1 on Amazon’s CD and Digital Best Sellers list as well as Top 3 on iTunes Main Albums Chart. On Spotify, the album is currently in the Top 10 on the Spotify top album list in the US. Additionally, the album peaked at #1 on iTunes in over 10 countries including the US, Canada and Norway.

Their first holiday release PTXMAS (2013) continues at #5 Billboard’s Holiday Albums Chart causing for 2 albums in the Top 5 on the chart. PTXMAS also lands in the Top 10 on Amazon’s CD Best Sellers List and #2 on iTunes Holiday Chart.
PTX premiered the music video for “Dance of The Sugar Plum Fairy” the 6th music video in support of That’s Christmas To Me. The group has also released, “White Winter Hymnal,” “Winter Wonderland / Don’t Worry Be Happy” ft. Tori Kelly, “Mary, Did You Know?”, “Silent Night” and their original song and title track, “That’s Christmas To Me”. All five videos have been viewed over 27 million times.
