Some shows are free to watch, but most require a subscription or a one-time payment.
Amazon Prime Video
The next platform we’re vouching for is Amazon Prime Video. While its library isn’t as big as Netflix or other on-demand streaming platforms, it offers select live performances of select artists. It’s not Prime Video’s core offering, but they might expand their offerings in this area in the future. Just like how live shows are aired on traditional TV like DISH TV, it would be great if they could develop this to set themselves apart from other VOD platforms. After all, they are already featuring a lot of concert films from artists like Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, and many more.
Peacock
Here’s the underdog that a lot of people forget about when it comes to streaming concerts, but it actually delivers surprisingly well. Peacock is known for sitcoms and reality shows, but they’ve been quietly adding live music events and concert specials to their lineup. It’s not overflowing with options like YouTube or Nugs, but when Peacock drops a concert, it’s usually tied to a big event or artist.
If you’re subscribed to Peacock, make sure to check out their concert lineups to make sure you’re not missing out on anything. Just don’t expect a long list of concerts, as they are still probably developing this side of their offering, but their lineup might expand in the future.
