Back in the 80’s the New Kids On The Block were a teen boy band sensation. It was reported that the Boston boys of NKOTB, brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg (yes, Mark Wahlberg’s brother) and Donny Wood, were earning 1 million dollars a week working this gig. In 2017, these pop idols once again unite to present their EP, Thankful.

The lyrics will have their audience swooning and they’ll surely attract a new base of fangirls and boys rehearsing the singable songs in front  of the mirror in their bedroom (some of their life long fans will definitely do this too!). The sound production of each track is manicured to pop perfection as heard in One More Night, the first single. Each song of the EP offers a different point of interest as in the thoughtful use of instrumentation and pulse in Heartbeat, and the tender vocal delivery and inclusion of EDM elements of the EP namesake. For those with an affinity for that quintessential 80’s sound with buzzing synthtastic cheesiness, Still Sounds Good To Me does not disappoint.

Thankful by New Kids On The Block is full of radio ready hits and catchy tunes that appeals to their original teen fans who are all grown up and the new kids too.
