9. B*witched – C’est La Vie

C’est La Vie introduced us to the quirky, animated and denim donning foursome that is B*Witched back in 1998. The track is from the groups debut self-titled album and was the first of four consecutive number one hits for the band.

A full throttle pop monster, Right Now oozes with loveable, catchy hooks and was the first single by Atomic Kitten, released back in 1998 while Kerry Katona was still a kitten.

6. Blue – If You Come Back

A solid fan favourite, If You Come Back has aged well over the past decade since its release. This one is boyband balladry at its best.

5. 5ive – Got The Feelin

June 1998 saw the release of this bad boy and the track still gets up bobbing away all these years later.

4. Liberty X – Just a Little

There is something about PVC catsuits and pop music – they just go so well together. Released back in May of 2002, Just A Little skyrocketed former Popstars contestants Liberty X right to the top of the charts.

3. B*Witched – Blame It On The Weatherman

This down-tempo gold nugget was the groups fourth consecutive single to go straight in at number one in the UK charts and it also made a lasting impression across the pond. The video for the track, if you can find it, is quite impressive also.

2. Atomic Kitten – Whole Again

Whole Again is Atomic Kitten’s biggest selling single and the groups signature track. There have been a couple of versions of the single due to the departure of Katona prior to the tracks release. Over a decade has passed since the track was offered to us but it is still as sweet as it was back in January 2001 when the single was first released.

1. 5ive – When The Lights Go Out

This one is one of our all time favorite boy band hits. The single, the groups second from their debut album, was released in early 1998 and also managed to crack the difficult U.S market.
