Single Review: Kim Cesarion – ‘I Love This Life’

I Love This Life is the newest single off Swedish singer/songwriter Kim Cesarion’s upcoming debut album and sets the bar high for what’s to come. The new single follows Undressed, which reached platinum sales in several countries worldwide and peaked at #5 on Airplay charts.
The smooth, soulful singer exudes an effortlessly cool vibe throughout the upbeat dance-pop track as he sings about meeting and starting a relationship with a beautiful, mysterious woman. The song blends elements of dance, pop, R&B and electronica to create a catchy and memorable tune which will likely be a big success for Cesarion and dominate airwaves all over the world.
The song’s music video, shot in Sydney during Kim’s February promo tour through Australia, features Cesarion and a dark-haired woman waking in a hotel room and running through the city together, choosing a boat and motorcycle as two of their getaway options. Shots of Cesarion singing alone are interspersed between the couple shots, including footage of him oh-o-cliché-ly singing in the rain.
Forgiving the cliché music video, the track is solid and has all the elements of a successful mainstream pop song. Cesarion clearly has a promising future ahead of him if he can continue to produce such appealing and quality music.
