UK music dynamos Craig David and Bruce Fielder a.k.a. Sigala have teamed up for the single Ain’t Giving Up. The track is featured on David’s upcoming album Following My Intuition, which is to be his big come back to the music game. If Ain’t Giving Up is anything to go by, it’s sure to be a welcomed return.
Ain’t Giving Up is the embodiment of feel good music! The lyrics give a hopeful message not to give up even through the tough times when you’re feeling like the world has beat you down. Sigala’s signature style of dance music, with playful percussion, contrasting textures and a satisfying build up to the high energy chorus serves the song well. The melodic hook delivered by Craig David’s smooth voice, is surely one that will be bouncing around your head throughout the day- depending on how much you like the tune this could be a good or a terrible thing.
Ain’t Giving Up is full fun, youthful energy. It’s not the kind of track that pushes any boundaries or provides us with anything fresh necessarily, but it does the job; it gets your foot tapping and turns the happiness dial up a notch.
